Deus Ex, Metal Gear Solid techno style
So again thanks to Steam, I was able to get Deus Ex Human Revolution.
Once again had to fight to set it up, but this has happened to everyone. Had to drop the screen size because the vocals and speech no matching up. Well after fighting with it I got it to work just fine. Later even more problems came up, as in the game screwed up my video card, so i had to use a restore point to go back in time, then just had to uninstall it, which freaked me up and pisse dme off since I enjoyed the game as well.
This game was really fun despite all the issues I had with graphics. Basically this game is Meal Gear Soild but with a lot more techno involved, sneaking..shooting..this guy has zilch for a personality..give the same "got it" answers. Seriously if you like Metal Gear Solid then you would love this game.
So because of all the PC issues, I am going to have to pick this up on a console..So I am super pissed that I am going to have to buy this twice, but I got an 18hr demo, so the 12$ I spent on the pc version doesn't seem to be a huge waste. But I can't wait to pick it back up again.

Motionjoy, the pluses and the minuses
Motion joy is a program that allows you to play PC games with a PS3 controller, but making your computer think it is an Xbox controller, since the both connect via USB. For the longest time this is how I was playing games on Steam, since I don't own an XBOX controller this seemed to be the perfect balance.
But recently, Motionjoy will stop working, forcing me to ctrl alt del out of the game I am playing to re-enable the program, usually while this happens..I die, or I fail to protect the flag, this program happened more and more recently..But yesterday the program just stopped work..the site wouldn't load..So given all these problems, next week I am just going to get an X-Box controller, as much as it pains me, I hope I can get used to it, it is a big controller.
A lot of the loading problems I read are because of Win 7 64 bit, ive heard that if you have a 32 bit OS, it shouldn't be that much OS an issue, I aslso read there is some way to fix it, but it sounds to complicated to deal with, so a new controller I will get.
I do recommend trying this program out for anyone, even more so if you want to PC game and aren't good at Mouse and Keyboard like I am/

PC gaming fee's but on your terms
So this was first off inspired by my gaming Muse Pixie. This has been modified from a different idea since that one is already in place and would stupid to bring up..
One of the reason I enjoy Console gaming more than PC gaming, is the majority of the greatest PC games have monthly fees, usually these fee's are just to play the game like WoW, but alot of games are doing away with the fee's in turn for free gaming but just paying for all the cool extra powerful and stylisitic crap, Team Fortress 2 is the most current example of this trend.
Well why not have both on the game at the same time, monthly fees and paying for all the cool stuff, now stay with me on this one..
Say your playing game, "SUPER ULTRA MEGA DUNGEON QUESTING FPS 17" with monthly fees and you buy the, "Lvl 15 helmet of scoping really far away", now lets say your monthly fee expired because of some reason, now a choice should come up thats say
Would you like to keep your "Lvl 15 helmet of scoping really far away"?
No- dreams ends and you keep playing
Yes- please pay a small fee (it should be small since you already had the item before your monthly ran out)
You then pay the fee and you get to keep your item for ever and ever till the end of time..or you piss off your spouce and they delete it..
But lets say you don't have the monthly fee's going and you see your friend with a "Lvl 15 helmet of scoping really far away", and your like, HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT IS SO COOL I WANT ONE!!! Then you can buy it but pay a much bigger one time fee for the item since you never had seen it before.
Now you can trade..sell..drop or give..these items but if you want them back you must pay again that only seems fair.
So what does anyone think, would this be a cool idea or what..? I think it would be.

Mass effect 2 mission: controller
This is from my blog before it died, where I talked about console vs pc games: Console VS PC gaming
So I played my free copy of Mass Effect 2 last night, excited to see what it was about and all of that.
So I first off looked at a way to play the game with a console, and found a cool file that allows the game to be played with an xbox controller, thats find an all but I don't own an xbox controller, so i found something else to emulate my PS3 controller as a xbox controller..but I couldn't get it to work, so sad so very very sad.
SO i reset it and set my self to have to play the game with PC controls. I hate pc controls, it may be that I am on a laptop or it may be that I am not as muti hand talented as I thought I am. After fighting with the first puzzle, I reset the movement controls from W/S/A/D, to the arrow keys, and that made it even harder to play.
So I turned it off and went to bed. But it makes me want to buy it and play it on my PlayStation 3, with much easier controller/
